Covid-19 Announcement

As we are sure you are aware, the New Zealand Government has moved the country into Level 4 lockdown as a response to Covid-19. We have closed the doors of our delis, but we are considered to be an essential service for home delivery of food and food packages.

“Any entity whose primary function is the supply, delivery, distribution and sale of food, beverage and other key consumer goods essential for maintaining the wellbeing of people and essential supply chain elements.”

We will continue to deliver our healthy, frozen meals throughout the lockdown period, across the north island.

We want you to know that we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff. Our team has been split into four shifts, with a stand-down period and full clean-down processes between each shift. The staff are wearing PPE gear, gloves for all food handling and washing/sanitising their hands frequently throughout each shift. We have implemented a temperature checking procedure at the beginning of each shift and we are recording all information. Our custom Food Control Plan with MPI is strict and being adhered to vigilantly.

Our delivery drivers will be practising contactless delivery, wearing gloves, sanitising after every delivery, sanitising the van regularly and not coming into contact with any customers.

We are working really hard to make sure that our staff and family are safe during this time and we hope you are doing the same. The health and safety of our loved ones and the rest of the community is paramount!
