Dinner delivered to your door

Good news — we've been approved as an essential service.

As we are sure you are aware, the New Zealand Government moved the country into Level 4 lockdown as a response to Covid-19. We have closed the doors of our delis, but we are considered to be an essential service for home delivery of food and food packages.

“Any entity whose primary function is the supply, delivery, distribution and sale of food, beverage and other key consumer goods essential for maintaining the wellbeing of people and essential supply chain elements.”

We will be giving our over-worked delivery drivers a break while the kitchen team restocks the freezers, but we will be redelivering frozen meals from Monday 30th March and throughout the lockdown period.

We are still supplying to selected supermarkets and we have been approached to increase that distribution. We will let you know via our social channels when availability changes or increases.

We are working really hard to make sure that our staff and family are safe during this time and we hope you are doing the same. The health and safety of our loved ones and the rest of the community is paramount!

Stay safe and look after yourselves.

Lots of love

Slow & Go™ Thai Red Beef Cheek Curry

Slow & Go™ Thai Red Beef Cheek Curry

Introducing a whole new concept - JUK Slow & Go™ frozen crock pot meals. All prepped and ready for you to defrost & throw into your slow cooker... come home to the smell (and taste!) of a healthy, home-cooked meal, without any of the hassle!

This Thai-inspired red curry is rich, warming and wonderfully aromatic. I like to serve it with plenty of just-tender greens to balance the intensity of the beef cheeks. Use whatever veggies are in season, and refresh in icy water to keep them crisp and vibrant. Serve with plenty of steamed rice to soak up all of the delicious curry sauce.

Slow & Go™ frozen meals are quick, tasty and ready when you are.

Gluten-free | Dairy-free

Contains: Soy and fish. While care is taken, this meal was made in a kitchen also handling gluten-containing cereal products, milk products, sesame, eggs, shellfish, peanuts and treetnuts.

Keep frozen, or refrigerated after defrosting.

Step 1: You’ve already done the hard part – choosing what to have for dinner. If you’re starting from frozen, start a day before and leave your Slow & Go™ to thaw overnight in the fridge.

Step 2: Empty the Slow & Go™ into your slow cooker and give it a bit of a stir to make sure all the meat is covered, then secure the slow cooker’s lid.

Step 3: Set and forget. We suggest 6 hours on high or 10 hours on low, but the beauty of slow cooking is that the meal is ready when YOU are! So don’t fret if you’re out for longer. It’ll still be delicious.

No slow cooker? No worries! Place contents in a lidded, ovenproof dish and bake at 160C for 3 hours, until tender.

Step four: Serve! It's as easy as that. We suggest serving this Thai Red Beef Cheek Curry with steamed rice and seasonal green veges.

Generously feeds 4 adults.
